NEMECE’s STEAM Camp is going to be a blast this year. We have to make up for not conducting the camp last year because of COVID-19. We will add even more educational fun to summer camp with students’ favorite games such as computer programming with Robolox, Scratch, and Minecraft. This year’s camp is going to promote the arts that offer a powerful combination of interactive instruction that provides children with an opportunity to express their understanding of concepts as well as personal expression that children crave when school is out for the summer!
We encourage children to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and problem solvers that allows them to grow and explore new modes of thinking and doing! Our summer camp provides lessons that go beyond the curriculum to develop a STEAM approach that explores different areas of study and provide them with an understanding of how each subject is connected. We will combine the essential skills such as reading comprehension, build vocabulary, enhance writing, review mathematics concepts all while incorporating science and engineering.
